Backup Solutions from the 1990s

In the 1990s several backup solutions were offered. These consisted of a type of tape backup presented in a cartridge format. The two main companies behind this technology were IOMega with their Zip disks and SyQuest. They were mainly external devices, however, internal Zip drives were rather popular. 

I was able to obtain a variety of these devices for the collection. I’ve heard that the SyQuest ezFlyer disks have not been reliable with age (something to look into to).  

The Panasonic PD disks are interesting as they were before the popular CD-RW.
